We take contractor quality seriously. Here's how we ensure you're working with trusted professionals
Every contractor submits a detailed application including business information, service categories, years in business, and service areas. We manually review each application within 24 hours.
We verify that contractors hold valid business licenses and registrations in their province. Contractors must provide proof of registration with their provincial business registry.
We require proof of general liability insurance (minimum $2 million coverage) and WSIB/WCB coverage where applicable. This protects homeowners from liability during projects.
We verify phone numbers, email addresses, and business addresses to ensure contractors are reachable and legitimate. We conduct test calls to verify responsiveness.
We conduct searches for legal issues, outstanding judgments, and compliance violations. Contractors with serious violations or fraud history are rejected.
We evaluate contractor communication skills, responsiveness, and professionalism during the application process. Contractors must demonstrate clear, respectful communication.
Verification doesn't stop at approval. We continuously monitor contractor performance, homeowner feedback, and renewal of licenses/insurance. Poor performers are removed.
Only contractors meeting our strict standards are approved
Homeowners rate contractors after every project
Fraud, harassment, or poor conduct results in immediate removal
We're transparent about our process. Contact us anytime with questions or concerns.
