Welcome to Trade Connect. By accessing or using tradeconnect.sale (the "Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Website. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Trade Connect.

2. Definitions

• "Platform" refers to the Trade Connect website and services
• "Homeowner" refers to individuals posting renovation projects
• "Contractor" refers to businesses subscribing to access project leads
• "User" refers to both Homeowners and Contractors
• "Project" refers to renovation work posted by Homeowners

3. Terms for Homeowners

3.1 Free Service

Homeowners can post projects on our Platform at no cost. We do not charge fees for project postings or contractor connections.

3.2 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information when posting projects. Misleading or false information may result in removal of your project.

3.3 No Guarantee

Trade Connect is a connection platform. We do not guarantee that contractors will respond to your project, the quality of work performed, or project completion. All agreements are directly between you and the contractor.

3.4 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for verifying contractor credentials, obtaining necessary permits, signing contracts, and ensuring work quality. We recommend obtaining multiple quotes and checking references.

4. Terms for Contractors

4.1 Subscription Plans

Contractors must subscribe to one of our paid plans (Pro or Elite) to access homeowner project leads. Subscription fees are:

• Pro Plan: $49/month - Unlimited leads in 1 service category
• Elite Plan: $99/month - Unlimited leads in all service categories with priority placement

4.2 Payment Terms

Subscriptions are billed monthly on a recurring basis. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method each billing cycle until you cancel your subscription.

4.3 Account Approval

After submitting your application and payment, we review your information and activate your account within 24 hours. We reserve the right to reject applications that do not meet our standards or provide incomplete/false information.

4.4 Professional Conduct

You agree to:

• Maintain valid business licenses and insurance as required by law
• Respond to homeowner inquiries professionally and promptly
• Provide accurate quotes and complete work as agreed
• Not harass, spam, or misuse homeowner contact information
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4.5 No Lead Guarantee

Your subscription provides unlimited access to project leads in your service area and categories. However, we do not guarantee a specific number of leads, responses from homeowners, or that you will win any projects.

4.6 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months except as outlined in our 30-day money-back guarantee.

5. Refund Policy

5.1 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee (First Payment Only)

If you are unsatisfied with our service within the first 30 days of your initial subscription, contact us at [email protected] for a full refund. This guarantee applies only to your first month's payment and is not available for renewals.

5.2 Renewal Refunds

Renewal payments are non-refundable. If you cancel after renewal, you will retain access until the end of your billing period, but no refund will be issued.

6. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the Website using automated means
• Attempt to circumvent payment or access restrictions
• Share account credentials or resell access to the Platform
• Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's functionality

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Trade Connect and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Trade Connect is a connection platform only. We are not responsible for:

• The quality, safety, or legality of work performed by contractors
• The accuracy of information provided by users
• Disputes between homeowners and contractors
• Property damage, injuries, or financial losses resulting from projects
• Contractor licensing, insurance, or compliance with regulations

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRADE CONNECT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trade Connect from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of another party.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any reason we deem necessary. Upon termination, you will lose access to the Platform and any data associated with your account.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which Trade Connect operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
